That election process to determine parents' preference of those bidding on taking over school programs could be delayed in release until Friday, according to the L.A. Times story in the L A. The results are non-binding on the District's selection. Complaints by charter advocates about the lack of access to parents telephone numbers and other methods of reaching parents and students that the teachers were able to use were made, among other criticisms of the process.
It may turn out that the changes might not be substantial after all, but it's going to be a decision for the District and the Board, so what happens could be anyone's guess.
