We missed out on a big game and another of those new night game experiences since the LAUSD Board put off all the Friday varsity games. (Looking at the bright side, it rained pretty well during the time we would have been watching the game.)
Next night game at home is November 14th against Eagle Rock, 7 p.m. varsity, 4 p.m. frosh/soph.
MORE NEWS, KEEP READING:
The 90th Gala Reunion Dance at the Biltmore this past Saturday was worth all the work it took to set it up. We missed those who could not make it, but enjoyed seeing all the people that attended and were a part of our days past during those Lincoln years.
If you went and were part of the crowd on Saturday, thanks for coming and making it so much the better. The reunions are about the place, but more importantly, about the people who were in that "place." I will leave it to others to note their ideas and experiences at the reunion, but it was nice to see that many of the people from my time at Lincoln surprised me and attended the festivities.
Let's hope that there will be some resurgence of the Lincoln spirit of old so that there will be that Tiger Pride showing more generously as in days of old on campus. We certainly had that on Saturday.
